Kendal Mountain Festival Opening Ceremony

Join us as we kick off the Festival in classic Kendal style at the Opening Ceremony!

We come together to watch a couple of short films on the big outdoor screen, outside Basecamp at Abbot Hall Park (LA9 5AL) before dancers and a band lead us to Market Place via Highgate to join Kendal Town Council's Christmas Light Switch On.

With the incredible Saltrock ambassador Andrei Burton performing bike stunts at Basecamp from 5pm and Columbia ambassador Lukas Irmler performing across a slackline above Kendal's Market Place from 6pm.

And best yet - it’s completely FREE!

No ticket required.

Family Adventure Film Afternoons at Lanty Slee (Sticklebarn)

And here are four events to look forward to after the Festival...

Come and join us for an afternoon of films and a hot chocolate to warm up after an adventure in the Langdales!

The National Trust and Kendal Mountain Tour are working together to deliver an exciting collection of films to inspire and excite young and old adventurers alike.

The ticket includes 60 mins of films and a Hot Chocolate - Tickets are non-refundable within 48 hrs of the event.

Under twos (and sitting on a lap) don't require a ticket for this event.
