Film Premiere - Wainwrights with Paul Tierney presented by Inov-8

Be the first to watch the new film about Paul Tierney’s incredible attempt at breaking The Wainwrights record.

In June this year, inov-8 ambassador Paul set out on an epic adventure to summit all 214 Alfred Wainwright Lake District peaks in one go. His goal was to try and beat the record time of 6 days 13 hours and 1 minute, set five years earlier by fellow fell runner Steve Birkinshaw.

Needing to cover a distance of approximately 318 miles and ascend the equivalent height of four times Mt Everest, Paul knew this was his biggest challenge to date and enlisted the help of friends and family.
Battling sleep deprivation and everything the Lake District weather could throw at him, what transpired was a story that gripped not only the fell-running and ultra-running communities but also the wider sporting world.
Now, for the first time, watch what really happened in Paul Tierney: Running The Wainwrights, a film by Lake District-based Dave MacFarlane.
The Saturday night session is being hosted by inov-8 and will also include a post-film Q&A with Paul, so please come armed with plenty of questions.
There will be a collection on the night for MIND UK, the charity Paul is supporting in memory of his friend and fellow Ambleside AC athlete Chris Stirling. Paul has so far raised more than £30,000 on his JustGiving page.
