Family SessionThe 2025 Kendal Mountain Festival will host two free sessions over the Festival weekend for families to attend. This event will take place at the Kendal Leisure Centre and will include a selection of short films and special guests. All children, of all ages, are very welcome!

Activities and Workshops

There will be a wide selection of outdoor activities, demonstrations and workshops taking place over the Festival weekend. Over the years, we have hosted guided walks, air ambulance experiences, cooking demonstrations and orienteering treasure hunts!

Parent and Baby Film CollectionsAimed more for new parents/guardians. These are dedicated film screenings that welcome babies and young children, allowing the grown-ups to be inspired by the latest adventure films and stories.
