10k Walk – Wildlife, Woods and Scars

New for 2019...

Blow off the cobwebs with a wildlife hike led by Jamie, Cumbria Wildlife Trust's education officer.
He'll guide you over nearby farmland, fell, woodland and even two ‘outlying’ Wainwrights.
Expect the walk to be muddy in places with some steep terrain - highlights include excellent views and seasonal wildlife on the limestone and woodland habitats. Some tricky wall gaps & stiles to negotiate over a moderate 10k route.

You’ll need walking boots and suitable clothing, plus a packed lunch (drinks and WC facilities will be available at Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s Gardens).

With thanks to Cumbria Wildlife Trust for supporting this brilliant new event.
