Plus hear from one of the world’s top mountaineers – Alan Hinkes OBE. Alan is the only Briton to have climbed all 14 of the world's highest mountains. He will join us on stage to share tales from his explorations.
Festival Director Steve Scott will present the evening sharing behind the scenes knowledge and explaining why these films have been chosen to be part of our International Film Programme. We'll also be giving away prizes from our fabulous tour partners.

Alan Hinkes OBE, a Fjällräven Ambassador, is the first and only Briton to climb all 14 of the world's highest mountains, a feat achieved by fewer people than have stood on the moon! Boasting an extraordinary mountaineering track record, Alan's frank and humorous accounts make any of his talks a must-see.
Camel Finds Water
Trevor found the hull of an abandoned fishing boat in a field. He brought it home and built it back to a sea-worthy state over the course of a summer. Then, he took it on its maiden voyage to British Columbia in search of waves.

Wild Swim is a collaboration born out of a shared love of wild swimming between Kate Drucquer, Whitney Blank and Amy Walker. Amy was living in the Yorkshire Dales whilst the film was shot so there were many locations to choose from but Janet's Foss proved the perfect location. The film brings together ideas around swimming for positive mental health and the joys of body acceptance in the wild swimming community.
