Fleece Inn

Film Collection Climb

Watch 90 minutes of brand new adventure films from our 2019 International Film Competition.

PLEASE NOTE: THE FILMS IN THIS COLLECTION WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON.

Our film collections are curated from entries to our year-long international film competition, entries have now closed and our team are busy selecting the films and curating a stunning programme for you to enjoy.
We will be screening thirteen different film collections which are repeated across the Festival:
6 general collections: A, B, C, D, E & F, which will contain a mixture of subjects.
7 themed collections: Mountaineering, Climb, Snow, Run, Bike, Women Led and Youth Programmed, which will contain content specific to their title.

Each of these collections will contain unique content, so for example, if you book A, E, Climb and Run you will see four different film collections.

For 2019, due to popular demand, we’ve swapped our day film passes to individual film session tickets. This gives you full flexibility of our programme, so you can choose the exact sessions you’d like to see. More info on this decision here.

Book your film tickets today to secure the time and venue of your choice and trust that whichever collection you choose, we will take your on an inspirational curated journey through an incredible selection of outdoor films.

We offer a discount for booking multiple Film Session Tickets over the weekend: four film sessions will cost £26 and five film sessions will cost just £30. Any additional Film Session Tickets will be £6 each.

Prefer to wait? In October we’ll be revealing the exact films that will be shown within each collection so if you prefer to know which films you will see you can wait for this date, but we can't guarantee that sessions won't sell out!

Accessibility
We're working hard to make our Festival fully accessible, and there are dedicated spaces reserved for wheelchair users in our venues with the exception of the Fleece Inn. Unfortunately within the Fleece Inn the cinema space is situated on an upper floor with no lift access. To ensure nobody misses out on the action, all film screenings held at the Fleece Inn, will also be held at other venues. For more information head to Festival Accessibility.

THANKS TO PERTEX

OUR FILM PROGRAMME PRESENTING PARTNER

If you're wearing a lightweight, high-performance windproof or waterproof mountain garment, there's a good chance it'll be constructed using Pertex fabrics. Founded in 1979 near Burnley, the company has steadily grown from humble beginnings into an iconic fabric technology brand, creating technical fabrics mainly used in garments and sleeping bags. Being so close to its outdoor users, Pertex has increasingly chosen to communicate stories through the medium of film. Its six-part series Elemental Journeys explores stories from people whose lives are defined by wild spaces and mountain adventures. At Kendal, we're proud that Pertex is the presenting sponsor of our International Film Competition.
